    Our local art group had our Christmas lunch here for 20 people and we had a fantastic time. Martin, the manager and staff were excellent. Danielle laid out the table beautifully. The food was well presented and arrived hot and tasted very good.

    Last year we were a bit disappointed but since Martin and Hannah arrived things have turned around.

    This is pub food, not gourmet so it depends what you are looking for. We pre ordered our wine and put a list of our menu choices in advance which helps them,

    Thank you Martin and crew we will be back,

    Popular pub. As the name implies, a stone's throw from the station. Great selection of draught and keg beers. Food is typical pub grub. Great beer garden. More than ample car parking.
